The search is on for the most outstanding and influential women in Terrigal, with nominations now open for the 2022 Terrigal Local Woman of the Year Award.
Parliamentary Secretary for the Central Coast and Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch has called for the community to nominate individuals who they believe have made a significant contribution to the Terrigal Electorate.
“There are so many women from all walks of life who are spearheading positive change and inspiring others to do the same right across the Central Coast,” Mr Crouch said.
“It’s time for us to acknowledge these fabulous women and celebrate the contributions they have made to our community.”
Minister for Women Bronnie Taylor said the annual awards play an important role in recognising inspirational women from diverse backgrounds across NSW.
“These awards are all about celebrating women who are standing up and standing out in their communities and setting a wonderful example for everyone,” Mrs Taylor said.
Claire Braund a local businesswoman, social entrepreneur and community leader that advocates for more women in leadership positions was named as Terrigal Electorate’s 2021 Woman of the Year.
