Central Coast motorists will soon benefit from 12 new road safety projects being rolled out through the NSW Government’s Safer Roads Program.

Parliamentary Secretary for the Central Coast and Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch said $1,432,500 would be invested on upgrades including road surface improvements, signage and median strips.

“Regional areas like the Central Coast have higher rates of road crashes and fatalities, which is why this million dollar road safety boost is so important,” Mr Crouch said.

“These 12 new safety projects stretch from one end of the Central Coast to the other, and I am pleased that every electorate is receiving its fair share of funding.”

Member of the Legislative Council Taylor Martin said the 12 new projects are on top of a $300 million investment in the last two years.

“The NSW Government has committed $258 million in the 2020-21 financial year for 383 projects that are designed to save lives,” Mr Martin said.
