The NSW Government’s Business Bus is visiting Kibble Park, Gosford today to provide advice to business owners looking to become more productive and profitable.
Parliamentary Secretary for the Central Coast and Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch said local business owners could hop on the bus and receive independent advice from business advisors.
“The Business Bus connects local business owners to experienced advisors as well as specialists in the procurement, access to finance, digital and creative sectors,” Mr Crouch said.
“Simply speaking to an advisor can help a business operator take their next step forward.
“This service is available to all types of businesses – whether just starting out, wanting to ensure their business remains sustainable or aiming to go global.”
Minister for Small Business Damien Tudehope said the Business Bus is a one-stop-shop for small businesses, travelling across NSW to visit communities, and provide information and advice about the support available from the NSW Government, to help small businesses to start and grow.
“The 786,000 small businesses across NSW are considered the lifeblood of the State’s economy. They represent almost 98 per cent of all businesses, employ about 1.65 million people and generate about $55.53 billion in annual wages and salaries,” Mr Tudehope said.
“We have invested $30 million in Business Connect over four and a half years, with 56% of businesses supported are in regional NSW and 68% of events are held in regional NSW.”
